01What you’re buying
You pay us; we retire verified credits or plant trees in the name you choose, and give you a certificate.
VerifiedCarbon.Credit (“we”) sells the retirement of third-party-verified carbon credits and the planting of trees on behalf of customers (“you”). Upon successful payment we will retire the stated quantity of credits from a project meeting our published criteria, or procure the planting of the stated number of trees, and issue a certificate recording the transaction.
02Subscriptions
Monthly plans renew every month until you pause or cancel — which you can do anytime, with just your email.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price on the same day each month. We will notify you by email before each renewal. You may pause, skip or cancel at any time through the account link sent to your email address; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
03Mistakes & refunds
Once a credit is retired or trees are booked in your name, it can’t be undone — so we can’t offer refunds. If something went wrong, write to us and we’ll look at how we can help.
Because the retirement of credits and the booking of plantings are permanent and recorded in our registry, completed purchases are non-refundable. If you believe an error occurred, contact us and we will review your case individually and in good faith.
04Trees
If one of your trees dies in its first two years, we replant it for free.
We guarantee the survival of trees planted on your behalf for twenty-four (24) months from planting. Any tree that does not survive this period will be replaced at no cost to you.
05What we can’t promise
We can’t make you “carbon neutral” — nobody honestly can. We can prove exactly what was retired for you.
Certificates evidence the retirement of credits or the planting of trees only. They do not constitute a claim that any individual or organisation is “carbon neutral” or “net zero”. Customers are responsible for the accuracy of any public claims they make.

Normal legal stuff: U.S. law applies, and we’ll tell you if these terms change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify existing customers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
